So, what is 'Science Buskers'?
Organized as a competition, Science Buskers Festival will serve as an excellent platform to spread key messages relating to the importance of inspiring an interest in science. During the competition, contestants will do a “show-and-tell” on any science topic, and judging will be based on audiences’ votes and judges’ scores.
Attractive cash prizes are to be won! In addition, the top 3 winners will walk away with a 1-year renewable Science Centre Contract!

Beatty (my school), is rather active in it and its usually cater for those in Sec 3. A group of my friends are taking part in it and i'm happy to say that my school will be sending in like 3 teams for this competition. They've pass the audition so the next round they'll be going is .... the busking round.
What is the busking round? Well its basically workshops, where contestants are to showcase their experiments to YOU people. Which means, live demonstration of many interesting and different types of experiments. Trust me, if you're a science lover, you'll love this event for sure. Seriously. I mean like you get to see at least 100++ different live demo of experiments, cool or what? Haha.
So, here are the details:
Dates - 09/08/2011 , 10/08/2011, 11/08/2011
Timings - 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 4.30 pm
Venue - Plaza Singapura (posters are there, so just follow the crowd :B)
