hi peeeps! long time no blog again haha well, have been maintaining blogshop and trying not to slack in both cca and study but well i did slack anyways ;x hehe. Damn fail siah, must work harder! I actually have something to blog and say so its kinda going to be wordy so yeah, bear with me (: will add in random pictures at times haha and of course a vocaloid video - recent addiction, kyaaa~ xD
Well, Singapore is 'Clean and Green' right? Okay la exclude the litters and flying plastic bags and tissues we see. Yeah we throw so much rubbish in out dustbins and then into the common bin in the kitchen (hdb flats). Then every evening/late night and early morning around 6 plus, the cleaners/rubbish collectors (p.s. idk what is exactly they're called but no offences) are there driving this truck to collect all our rubbish and then dispose them, send them to respective incineration plants (i know cause i saw them, roughly around that timing but sometimes afternoon i see them too).
I personally dislike people who do obvious actions like pinching their nose when they saw those people collecting rubbish as they walk pass them. Is mean okay!!!!! I mean like even if you don't like the smell or you can't stand it, just keep quiet > take a deep breathe > walk faster. Imagine you;'re the one clearing the rubbish and people doing that to you, how would you feel?
imagine living with these. We're already counted fortunate and lucky to help people willing to take this job to clear our rubbish and not complaining at all. Well maybe they do rant but idk.

Today 3E2'11 my class went for a humanities and social studies filed trip to Tuas Incineration Plant. It is a very new and good experience, yeah i enjoyed my trip there. The control room consist of a group of workers monitoring the operation going on within the plant and the machines and they'll get a few different types of alarms, telling them certain areas have some problems or so, and they'll have to go to that area immediately to solve it. The worker said that it is open 24/7 365 days and everyday there will be alarms.
Yaksheni, Rajes and I were talking and chatting then yaksheni said this:
"Hey i wonder why those firemen, policemen get those appreciation day and like uniform groups also have those appreciation days too but why these people who are clearing our rubbish doesn't have one?"
me and rajes were like: AGREEEEEEE!!!!!
haha well, maybe they do have but idk. But even so i think they should have one. We should in fact thank them for clearing our rubbish despite the stench, despite how dirty the place is. It can also be kinda dangerous after seeing the factory. I think they really deserve a big thank you!! Yeah, and we should all just follow the 3Rs and reduce amt of waste produce each day to make their work lighter and plus this can helps to reduce the stench too hehe.
Well thats all for today, need to mug chemistry haha ciaos!

Plus without these people willing to do this type of job, who will help us clear our rubbish? We'll be probably living in a place with these pile of rubbish as our neighbours and yeah 'fresh air' everyday:
